Surprising consistency


Drew this up a while ago. Apparently never posted it.

Interesting, the way debt seems to increase in a straight-line trend before the Great Depression. And then, after the Depression, debt works its way back to the same straight-line trend and accumulation continues along that path.

It's not perfect. Debt apparently grew a little less rapidly before the Great Depression, a little more rapidly after.

It's not perfect, but then we are dealing with an outcome of human behavior.
